First, the basic line of the longer side of the masonry is marked out with the ruler.

Then the measure of the front side is marked on the baseline.

With the build angle, the short edge of the wall is connected and also marked out on the ground.

The length on the line of the short side is marked

Once again a final dimensional check - and then the walling can begin.
