Deciding

In a process-oriented work organization, all work activities are assigned to and determined by processes. If trainees are to understand their role and the importance of certain work activities, they must first understand the process as a whole.

Based on the information basis and the various planning principles, a concrete decision on how to proceed is made in this phase.

Structuring of the work process

Structuring the work process

In this phase, the trainees determine the course of work. They divide it into a sequence of individual work steps.

Examples:

  • Determining the material locations
  • Marking of the wall floor plan, dimensional control
  • Mortar production
  • Creating the first row
  • Dimensional, plumb and alignment control
  • Create the other rows
  • .....

Support in the decision-making phase is provided by the trainer, who is experienced in carrying out these tasks.

Supervise decision phase

Supervision

Support in the decision-making phase is provided by the trainer, who is experienced in carrying out these tasks.

The support fulfils three functions:

  • First, it must be ensured that no errors occur during subsequent processing that cannot be corrected.
  • Second, to prevent damage and hazards
  • A third function is not to leave trainees to themselves.

On the one hand, trainees should be able to work on new tasks as independently as possible, on the other hand, they must be able to ask someone in case of uncertainties.
