They can use this checklist to evaluate their work.
This checklist must be created individually. The points depend on the respective workpiece.
Masonry has other criteria than a tiled wall or a paved walkway. Of course, as a trainer you must know the respective trades, their technology and their quality characteristics exactly.
Consider well which aspects are important for the respective workpiece.
Trainees must be able to understand the control criteria.
Explain to them why these criteria are important.
Let the trainees explain the consequences of non-compliance with the important criteria.
